Our Team

Dr. Soomro is an ophthalmologist with a background in clinical medicine as well as laboratory and clinical research. He is currently looking to pursue a PhD in conventional and robotic systems for delivering stem cell based retinal therapies. His research interests are around retinal therapies, robotic systems for retinal surgery, large data analysis for epidemiology of retinal diseases and deep learning analysis of retinal imaging to predict retinal conditions. He likes to play squash in his spare time.
